In the early 1980’s our family moved to Florida, for the same reasons most people do for sunny days and beautiful weather. Having always wanted to own a business, we purchased a small family owned aluminum awning and vinyl window shop in Pinellas County Florida. Throughout the years and with great determination the awning company grew.

Our growing awning business began to include canvas, vinyl and Sunbrella brand fabric awnings and canopies. As we added Custom welded products , Bahama Shutters, and Commercial backlit awnings we needed to move to a bigger facility. Keeping to our company values of superior customer service, first quality manufacturing and installation of awning products, our company has developed a good reputation for over two decades.

Our family business now includes our sons who are bringing new life and ideas allowing us to continue the growth of the awning business. Expanding our product line with manufacturing pre-engineered canopies, architectural aluminum commercial awnings, Lexan canopies, commercial metal canopies, architectural awnings, roll curtains, drop curtains, and banners all while remaining true to delivering quality products.

Throughout our history, Awning Works Inc. in Tampa Bay Florida has great appeal when it comes to providing affordable custom awnings and canopies for both the residential and commercial market. No job has been too big or too small.

In recent years, architects, contractors, building owners and others interested in industrial and contemporary designs have rediscovered awnings. Awning Works saw the interest building and developed a Pre-Engineered Commercial Canopy and Architectural Structure Solution.

Another pre-engineered solution Awning Works developed for the rising interest in architectural and structural canopies is the Solar View canopy system. Solar View canopies utilize the Lexan polycarbonate panels with our proprietary glazing system to deliver architectural entrance marquee canopies, walkway canopies, doorway awnings, door awnings and window awnings a new life.

Awning Works provides over 80 years of experience and is licensed as a General Contractor and Flash Certified for Hurricane product home inspections. Our home base is in Clearwater Florida where we serve the Tampa Bay area, the state of Florida and the entire United States.
