We are excited to work with Architects, Engineers and Owners and build on your ideas, desires and needs. We can then convert your ideas, renderings and sketches into reality that will incorporate functionality with modern design.

SHOP DRAWINGS

All of our awning, canopy or tension structure projects start with a set of preliminary shop CAD drawings provided by Awning Works. We will provide the preliminary shop CAD drawings for overall approval of our concepts, awning design or alternate products.

Once the shop drawings are reviewed, revised if necessary and approved we move the project into the structural analysis department for the approval of our engineer.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

Every custom awning, canopy or tension structure goes through engineering review. The analysis is necessary to determine the holding strength of the fasteners, optimum frame members and to provide the building department with a set of signed & sealed drawings for permitting. Whether your awning, canopy or tension structure has been designed by Awning Works Inc. or a third party, we will be happy to offer our services to ensure that your awning, canopy or tension structure is efficient, safe and certified by a licensed structural engineer in your region

Awning Works Inc. is a proud manufacturer of our entire awning, canopies and tension structures. We build what we sell ensuring the quality and longevity of our awnings, canopies or tension structures. Our capabilities include shop drawings, aluminum welding, steel welding fabric patterning, fabric sewing, custom tailoring and heat sealing. Awning Works Inc. will manufacture awnings, canopies or tension structures directly for the end client or partner with other awning companies, architects, contractors or design firms

AWNING, CANOPY OR TENSION STRUCTURE INSTALLERS

Awning Works Inc. employs a trained team of installers. Further more all of our on-site employees have passed the level 2 Jessica Lunsford act screening. Our team is capable of installing large awnings, canopies or tension structures with the use of conventional cranes, fork lifts, scissor lifts, or snorkel lifts.
