- A shutter configuration with a 24" blade span with no vertical support, had a 3.96 safety factor (2651 pounds/per sq. inch) in a standard spacing.
- A shutter configuration with a 36" blade span with a mid length vertical support in a standard spacing, had a 2.1 safety factor (4906 pounds/ per sq. inch).
- A shutter configuration with a 36" blade span with a mid length vertical support in a sea view spacing, had a 2.1 safety factor (4862 pounds/ per sq. inch).
