At Awning Works, we are here to help make your business better, both practically and aesthetically. Adding retractable outdoor solar protection is a great way to keep your customers cool and keep the outdoor area of your building viable even during inclement weather. Structural umbrellas add style and effortless ROI for your business. Today, we spotlight two Florida locations that recently added structural umbrellas.

Lego has been a building block (pun very much intended) for both children and adults worldwide. In 2011, a brand new Lego experience opened its doors with The LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven. The 150-acre theme park is located 45 minutes from both downtown Tampa and Orlando, providing all of central Florida easy access to the 50 rides, shows, attractions and more.

For LEGOLAND Florida, Awning Works installed four Skyspan Vista structural umbrellas in SD red with a Lagoon Blue canopy color from the Serge Ferrari Soltis 502 collection. These umbrellas are pre-engineered to withstand 75 MPH winds, and with the Florida weather always having the possibility of becoming tempestuous, adding these durable stainless steel umbrellas was the missing piece for LEGOLAND. The outdoor dining area is now adorned with a set of umbrellas that will help visitors beat the heat and the rain during their visit.
